Obituary of Vincent Paul Brower

Vincent Paul Brower, 86, of Ocala, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at E.W. & Lucille Cates House Hospice in Ocala, Florida with his family by his side.  He was born July 12, 1936, to Kenneth and Donelda Brower in Lima, Ohio.

Vincent married his wife Catherine Riccardi in January 1959, and lived in Cairo, Ohio and surrounding areas and then relocated to Ocala, FL in 1984.  Vincent was a Teamster, farmer, independent truck driver, and worked for Florida Dairy Farmers trucking until he retired.  Vincent loved living at OTOW, driving his golf cart around and being involved in various community functions and activities.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Catherine Brower; and his brother Gaylord Lee Smith.

Vincent is survived by his brother Merle Smith; children, Sheila (Rafael) Ramos of Ormond Beach, Vincent Brower of Summerfield, and Stephen (Suzette) Brower of Ocala; four grandchildren Jessica Rako, Christopher (Crystal) Ramos, Ashley (Felix) Streer, and Alayna Brower; one great grandchild Daniel Walker.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, beginning at 10:00AM at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3^rd Street, Ocala, Fl 34470.  

The family suggests that donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Marion County.
