Obituary of Gilda (Dattola) Daley Danielson

Gilda (Dattola) Daley Danielson, 93, went home to the Lord June 27, 2023. Gilda was born in Carbondale, PA to the late Francesco Dattola and Giuseppina (Morabito) Dattola. The family moved to Syracuse, NY where Gilda worked at General Electric for 28 years. After retirement Gilda moved to Newton Lake in PA where she enjoyed the beauty of the lake, the sunrises and sunsets and then moved to Belleview, Florida. Gilda was predeceased by her husband, Elmer O. Danielson, three sisters; Catherine Cresho, Concetta Dattola and Rose Geremia. She is survived by her son Michael (Stephanie) Daley, Granddaughters Shaina (Collin) Dempsey; Samantha Daley; two great grandchildren Lorelai and Samuel Dempsey; sisters, Margaret Grimes, Antionette (Robert) Williams and Marie (Joseph) Mingin and several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 19, 2023; 11:00 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Wildwood. Entombment will be at 2:00 pm at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
