Obituary of Lola Martin

Lola "Wynell" Martin born July 7, 1938, in Georgia. Passed peacefully on July 3, 2023, at the age of 84. Wynell was a devoted wife of 65 years to Don Martin and a wonderful mother to 3 sons, Donald Jr., Kenny, and Ronald. She was a fun-loving grandmother to 10 grandkids and 8 great grandchildren who valued her wisdom. Wynell raised her family in Hialeah and eventually retired in beautiful Silver Springs. She will be remembered for many things, including her infectious laugh, her warm heart, and her artistic nature. She truly enjoyed going for rides in her 1993 red Cobra Mustang, hummingbirds, photography, and spending time with family. We will all miss our earth angel. 

Wynell will be joining her parents, her sister Elouise, and brother Chester for corn bread and banana pudding with the Lord.      

Services will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with services at 11:00 am.  Burial to follow at Highlands Memorial Park.
