Obituary of Tammy Lyn Davis

Tammy Lyn (Sleeth)Davis, 65, of Ocala, Florida passed away at Adventhealth Ocala on the morning of June 4th, 2023, following a long illness. She was born on September 22, 1957, in Salinas California and moved to Ocala, FL when she was 4 years old. She spent much of the last years of her life, self-employed, as a bookkeeper/accountant in Ocala, and was a friend to many in our community.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Michael Benjamin Davis, her son, Brian Michael Davis and her brother George Willaim Sleeth II, and sister in law Rhonda Sleeth. She was preceded in death by her mother Joan Cleo Sleeth and her Father George William Sleeth I. A celebration of life service for Tammy will be held at First Christian Church, 1908 Fort King Street, Ocala, FL 34471. The service will be held on Saturday, July 1st at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00am until the time of the service. She was also involved with the Boy Scouts of America as an adult volunteer. One of the proudest moments of her life was watching her son, Brian, become an Eagle Scout. Any Scout Leaders who wish to attend the memorial service in uniform are welcome to do so. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations may be made to North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, 521 Edgewood Ave S, Jacksonville, FL 32205 in her honor.
