Obituary of Charlene Mae Earl

Charlene Mae Earl., 88 years old, of Ocala Florida, departed this life on Thursday, June 8^th, 2023, at Brookdale Canopy Oaks in Ocala, FL. She was born September 14^th, 1934, to Charles and Fay (Brown) McGregor in Lutesville Missouri. Charlene was raised in and graduated from high school in Barberton Ohio. She moved to Colorado and then Arizona and later retired to Ocala FL in 1997.

Charlene was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid entertainer and was a key member of the performing group “The New Pretenders” at On Top of the World in Ocala FL for many years.  

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband William O. Earl, her parents Charles and Fay (Brown) McGregor and her daughter Kathi M. Martin.

Charlene is survived by her loving sons, Kenneth Buffington of Saratoga WY, William J. Earl of Bradenton FL and James V. Earl of Orlando FL, and her brother Roger McGregor of Algonquin IL and her sister Brenda Tierney of Barberton OH as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and several great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23^rd, 2023, beginning at 10:30 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110^th Street, Ocala, Fl 34481
