Obituary of Walter “Fred” Holzworth

Walter “Fred” Holzworth, Of Chiefland, FL passed away Friday, February 24, 2023.  He was born to Elizabeth Neff and James F. Holzworth on December 9, 1944 in Springfield, IL.  Fred was married to Edna Wood Holzworth for 40 years. 

Fred had 4 brothers; Jim, Robert, Bill and Richard (deceased) Holzworth.  He and Edna had 4 children, Leah and Rodney Fambrough, Lisa and Briggs Mathis, Lena and David Driver, and Eric and Danielle Phillips.  Fred has 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Service Information:  Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Pine Grove Baptist Church 16655 NW County Rd. 339 Trenton, FL 32693  10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Family Visitation, 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon Friends Visitation, and 12:30 Service.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the above church (Youth & Children Ministries Group or Senior Son Flowers Group).
