Obituary of Bobbie Jean Hill

Bobbie Jean Hill, age 88 of Ocala, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday June 18, 2019. She was born to the late Alex and Hazel Tapp of Lubbock, Texas on August 5, 1930. Bobbie was married for 53 years to her late husband James O. Hill.  She has three surviving children, Sharon, Ron and Bruce along with one surviving granddaughter Jamie and one deceased grandson Scott and two great grandchildren Chace and Piper. Bobbie was the eldest of four children with two brothers Sonny and Jerry and her late sister Melba.

A loving mother and homemaker, Bobbie was a devout Christian attending the Trinity Baptist Church of Ocala until her health would no longer allow. She loved watching the Florida Gators during football season and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan. She will be missed dearly.

A graveside service will be held at The Anthony Cemetery on July 1st at 10:00 am and there will be food and refreshments available after the service at her home.  Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home will be handling the burial arrangements.
