Obituary of Patricia Jean Craig
Pat was the fourth and last child of Henry and Marjorie Goodearle. Her parents, and brothers Henry and Don and her sister Edythe preceded her in death.
On March 19, 1955, Pat married James Craig. In time, they became the parents of Barry (Jocabet) and Todd (Sarah), the grandparents of James and Courtney, and great grandparents to Jackson — all with us today. A third son was stillborn.
Pat is also survived by many dear friends and relatives.
Pat was a very successful business owner, becoming the queen of US sales for Finelle Cosmetics. She was stylish and dignified, a skilled cook, a talented decorator, a wonderful soprano singer. Most importantly, she was a faithful servant of our Creator, Jehovah God. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 1, 1969.
Her belief in Bible promises led Pat to become a pioneer — a full time evangelizer — in 1999. Her business success eventually encroached too much on her spiritual life, so she retired from business to fully devote her time to her spiritual goals. She continued pioneering until August 2016, when her growing health problems prevented her from continuing.
Pat died on June 22, 2019, after suffering for years with a degenerative and fatal disease. Her husband Jim took care of her throughout this ordeal. She was 84 years old. Her family was at her side throughout her last week. She died at home, peacefully and surrounded by love.
But she believed that death is only like sleep to our God Jehovah. She will soon hear his voice and wake up in the resurrection, young, healthy and with an eternal future. (Job 14:15)
Pat was loved and treasured by so many whose lives she enriched. She will be dearly missed.
