Obituary of Michele Lee Burkett

Michele Lee Burkett, 53, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away February 21, 2019 at Legacy House Ocala, Florida. She was born on September 5, 1965 in Salem, Ohio to Larry and Jodie (Macek) Hoopes.

Michele was an active member of Sorrento Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her church family. Michele loved going to the mountains and seeing the change of seasons every year. Her hobbies included crafting and sewing, reading, and doing puzzles.

Michele was employed by Village Pack 'N Ship since 2007 and was very dedicated to her work.

Michele is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ricky; four children, Nicholas (Rosa) Burkett, Okeechobee, FL, Jodie Frisby, Aaron Burkett, Madison Burkett, all of Summerfield, FL, three, grandchildren, Jayda Burkett,  Okeechobee, FL, Kinsley Frisby, Summerfield, FL, Caysen Burkett, Okeechobee, FL, step-father, Bill Jones, Ohio, siblings, Tracy Hoopes, Clewiston, FL,  Kelly "Twink" Swindle, Clewiston, FL,  Kim Conley, Lake Placid, FL. And JW Allison, Ohio.

Funeral services will be at 12:00PM on February 26, 2019 at Belleview Church of God with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Belleview Cemetery.
